Did I drop the ball?
I found a guy at work that was interested in selling me a lot of Silver coins as follows.

Should I be contacting this guy an trying to aquire these coins? I'm very new to the PM game, and so far have only purchased JM 10oz bars, so input would be appreciated. |
Re: Did I drop the ball?
$5 - 24.3g sterling, 22.48g silver content
$10 - 48.6g sterling, 44.955g silver content $20 - 34.07g sterling, 31.51g silver content (3*22.48)+44.955+31.51= 143.905g silver. 4.63 t.oz @ 15.34= $71.02. Buyers premium=39% If these coins aren't attractive to you in any numismatic way, I'd pass. There are better silver deals out there. |
Re: Did I drop the ball?
I know the 1988 Olympic coin is 1 ounce of silver content.
Beautiful coin. I have the whole set of 10 coins - one of my favorite sets I own. It's goes for around $25 to $30 each coin on E-Bay. I am not familiar with the other Canadian coins |
Re: Did I drop the ball?
Rule of thumb for me when I buy them
$5 Montreal - $7.50 $10 Montreal - $15 $20 Calgary, worth less than face. |
